Re: Consoles Still Rule

Personally I'm glad to have read that, I found it odd that many people were saying that this generation of consoles would be the last and mobile gaming was going to take over. Then on the other hand PS4 and Xbone have recorded really strong sales figures so it couldn't be both could it ? From a self...

Re: Irony regarding Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U aka Super Smash Bros. 2014

Yeah the 3DS has a much larger install base than the Wii U so it's fairly obvious it would sell more.

What would be a better statistic is the % of Wii U owners that have purchased the game. That would give you an indication on if the game has sold well relative to the Wii U's install base.

Re: 2015/6/9: Jaguar: Frog Feast (CD)

I wouldn't hold the Jaguar responsible. The initial idea behind Frog Feast is that it would be ported to most CD based consoles. It's practically identical across Sega CD, Neo Geo CD, FM Towns CD, Philips CD-I, Amiga CD32 (you get the idea). It was kept super simple so it could be ported to everythi...

Re: Star Fox 2 (SNES)

I saw a video from Game Sack and they were using a reproduction cartridge so if you can track it down you can use the original hardware.

Re: Starting a Let's Play Channel?

I can't give you any technical advice only what in my opinion makes a good lets play video. Length - Between 5 -10 minutes ideally you don't someone waffling on for an eternity. Gaps - Let's plays when the player gets distracted by the game and just resorts to profanity are dull. Profanity - Mild in...

FIFA - thank you America

If you've got any interest in the world game then you will have heard Sepp Blatter has finally resigned from FIFA. This organisation has been corrupt for years and despite years of journalists expose' nothing has ever changed. It is slightly embarrassing that the rest of the world has never been abl...

Re: Atari Anthology (PS2)

Millipede 2600 It's another good conversion by Atari. But like the arcade version I find it too chaotic and not as much fun as Centipede. C+ Only two games left in this 'constellation' Gravitar and Crystal Castles both of which I didn't particularly enjoy the arcade versions of. We shall see if I en...

Re: 200 Greatest Games Of The '90s- By The VGC Community

43. Street Fighter II 1991 Super Nintendo, Sega MegaDrive/Genesis & PC Engine I'm astonished this hasn't been mentioned yet. This game kicked off the 1 on 1 beat 'em up craze. Well balanced, interesting characters, a deep combo system and plenty of special moves. It just took the genre to an who...
