Stealth or Combat?

A lot of games lately are giving you the choice to either fight or sneak your way through the levels. Which option do you like more? Personally, I like stealth. When it's done well, I find stealthily taking out the enemies much more satisfying than just running in guns blazing. The Arkham games are ...

Preferred Rating?

Do you have a preference for what you like the games you play to be rated? Personally, I like them to be T. I play plenty of M games, but with a T game I don't usually have to worry about someone walking in on me and seeing something I'll be embarrassed about.

Re: Five Nights at Freddy's Review

I've got no real interest in playing further in the series. I heard they were making a movie, though. Is that true?

Re: "It's terrible but I like it anyway" games

Oh, there was Mighty Max for SNES. Based on an obscure tv show based on an obscure line of toys, and made by the same people who made the SNES ports of Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. I got it when I was a kid,and actually convinced myself I was having fun with it. Looking back on it, yeah, that game s...

Re: Bad Parts in Good Games

Probably the only game I've ever purposefully kept going through even though the game suddenly sucked would be Super Smash Bros Brawl- Sub Space Emissary. Towards the end of the campaign you had to go through a giant ass maze through all the locations of the game and it was a huge chore. I remember...

Five Nights at Freddy's Review

Video Game Review— Five Nights at Freddy’s for PC I don’t usually play PC games. In fact, a mouse and keyboard is definitely my LEAST favorite way of playing a game. I don’t care if it offers more versatility or precision, I just prefer the feeling of a controller in my hand. So, what made me decide...

Re: Bad Parts in Good Games

I could also add the second Barthandelus fight in Final Fantasy XIII to the list. It's like the developers intentionally made him as frustrating as possible. You can't sabotage him because he'll immediately cure himself. You can't buff yourself up, because he'll immediately sabotage those away. You'...

Bad Parts in Good Games

Are there any great games that you absolutely love, but you still can't deny it has some pretty terrible parts? For me, those are the Monstro level in Kingdom Hearts 1,and the Shadow Temple section of Ganondorf's castle in Ocarina of Time. Monstro is a maze of rooms that all look the same with doorw...

Unusual Ways of Discovering Games?

Have you ever discovered a game you really liked (or didn't like) in a weird way? I remember I found out about Kingdom Hearts by a little 30 second commercial on a Reign of Fire dvd my parents rented for me when I was a kid. I thought that commercial was so awesome that I would just sit on the couch...

Re: "It's terrible but I like it anyway" games

Tak and the Power of Juju. First game I got on my PS2 as a kid. It wasn't terrible, per se, but looking back it did do a lot of things wrong. Collecting 200 tiny objects scattered randomly across half a dozen large worlds? Noooo, thank you! Still, as a kid, I enjoyed it.
