Re: The Final Fantasy VII Remake Thread

I'm hoping they adopt the FFXV combat into this game. Advent Children might not be the best movie, but it LOOKED awesome. Imagine bring able to play the game that way! XIII-2 had chocobo racing, and XV has been shown to have chocobos as well (I think racing is currently unconfirmed, though) so I don...

Re: Favorite Soundtrack?

Been a while since anyone touched this thread, but I came across this masterpiece while playing Dragon's Dogma, and had to add it to the list.

Re: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

So far, the game is fun but not spectacular. The time constraints are cool, but sometimes force you to just stand around for fear of being too far away when a key moment occurs. The combat is okay too, but I feel like you run out of power way too quickly. Sometimes it feels like the game is punishin...

Re: 2015/6/14: Xbox One: Zoo Tycoon, Screamride

Good reviews. I used to love Roller Coaster Tycoon, so Zoo Tycoon sounds right up my alley. Too bad it's only on XBone. Scream Ride sounds like Temple Run on consoles. Might be fun, but nothing I'd spend money on.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

I just received Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (aka, Final Fantasy 13-3) for my birthday. Will post my first impressions after I get time to play it, and a review is definitely coming after I finish it. :)

Re: Day/Night Cycles?

I didn't mind them in Twilight Princess. Been a few years since I played that game, but I think it was because they didn't last very long. And the skeleton monsters that came out weren't that tough.

Day/Night Cycles?

Do you like your games to cycle from day to night? I've been playing Dragon's Dogma, and I actually find them kind of annoying. The nights last so long, you can barely see, and the monsters get a lot tougher- especially to my low level character. And you can only skip them if you're in a town and fi...

Things only a gamer can take seriously?

What are some things that we, as gamers, love, but other people would laugh at? Here's mine:
Mickey Mouse fights like Yoda with a white and gold key-sword as tall as he is.

Re: One Sentence N64 Reviews

I don't play a lot of N64 games, so here's the only one I've got:
"A classic, sometimes called the greatest game ever made, but while it has aged very well for the most part the controls are rather stiff and frustrating in certain areas."

So yeah... try and guess.
