Steam Machines?

I saw one of those new Steam consoles in Walmart a few weeks ago. Basically, it lets you download games from Steam directly onto the machine, and then lets you play them on your TV like a normal console. I looked up a few reviews for it (can't remember what it was called, though), and they seemed pr...

Actually, leveling up in RPGs is often completely necessary, because you'll be underpowered later om in the game and unable to take down the stronger bosses.

Re: 2015/6/4: Wii U: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Ooh, Critic... you might be getting some backlash for this one. I've played a couple of the MH games, and I definitely get their appeal even if they're not for me. I've never played 3 Ultimate, but from the ones I've played, I think you may have been playing with the wrong mindset. This isn't God of...

Re: Anybody played Splatoon for the Wii U?

I haven't played it, but I've watched a few gameplay videos and reviews of it. I see lots of people calling it the most unique shooter in years, but I just found that it reminded me a lot of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. I'm sure they play completely differently, but watching one just makes me ...

Re: Starting a Let's Play Channel?

If I were to LP I'd probably be so mellow it'd turn the audience off. The occasional quirkiness is okay but don't kiss up to the likes of PewdiePie, their Foghorn-Leghorn disposition gets cringe-worthy. Don't worry, I'm more the snarky, sarcastic kind of funny, with a healthy dose of silly randomne...

Re: Starting a Let's Play Channel?

Thanks! Honesty, I think it's something I'd be better off waiting until I got a place of my own to try. My parents aren't huge fans of video games, and I don't need an episode to be interrupted by "Adam, quiet down! I can hear you downstairs" "I'm making content for me channel, leave ...

Starting a Let's Play Channel?

I'm considering starting a Let's Play Channel on YouTube. Anybody have advice or experience in that? It'd just be for fun, and I'd play games i actually wanted to play, but I heard you can make money off them too somehow. I already know I'll need to buy a capture device for the footage and a good mi...

Re: Bad Parts in Good Games

In Twilight Princess, the parts where you have to collect those stupid tears of light. Skyward Sword has something similar to that. It's a good game, but full of these moments that suck. Really? I actually didn't mind those. They weren't the best parts of the game, sure, but the Twilit areas and th...

Re: Bad Parts in Good Games

I saw on a speed run of the game that the guy used the enemy soldiers as cover. He would literally just kill one or two of them, grab the other, and let the opponent shoot him dead. I could never do the things he was doing in the game but it was pretty interesting. Are you sure that was the origina...
