Re: Favorite Guitarists?

I'll go with Jesse Pintado from Terrorizer, Napalm Death, Lock Up and others.

Re: Roger Moore Died. :(

Sir Roger Moore was a great Bond. A lot of my favorite Bond movies are his ones. I'm sad to hear the news. However, I'm really looking forward to catching a lot of his Bond's again, next time they're on, even though I've seen them a million times, lol.

Re: RIP Chris Cornell

This is terrible and I'm very sad about it. I'm a big fan. I felt like Chris Cornell was great in every project he did. I thought that he had longevity in a genre that most people are over the hill by their late 20's. No one rights good songs later than that really, and he did it. Obviously Soundgar...

Re: I feel the GameCube is vastly overrated.

I think Super Mario Sunshine is a great game. The graphics are outstanding, the story line has depth, and it is a different game and follows a different path. Perhaps not unlike Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Bros. 2. And I really liked the bonus minigames.

Re: "Mostly Gone" Genres

I'd like to see more 2d run and gun and platformers. It seems like the only ones out are Mario games. And of course there's the amateur developers with no money in their basement cranking out classic after classic, filling the screen with 1 or maybe 2 sprites.

Re: Favorite Album Closers of All Time?

I think the original shipment of Nevermind (which didn't include Endless, Nameless) only went out to major cities so cool people like me could purchase it first (ok maybe I'm a little full of myself). But I had a cassette and CD of Nevermind and believe me it ended after Something In The Way, lol. I...

Re: Favorite Album Openers

I actually agree with Tired of Sex is a great opener. Since I'm comfortable in my skin and not a poseur I'm going with Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Re: Favorite Album Closers of All Time?

Well, to be ever the genious, I'll say this about Endless, Nameless being the last track off Nevermind. My brother and I were one of the first people to buy Nevermind, and the first 50,000 copies didn't have Endless Nameless. The record company famously left it off the first shipment by accident. So...

Re: Early to Mid 90's gaming

It is easy to get sucked into nostalgia and remember the good things. But my favorite publishers and genres went extinct in the late 90's. I was still young so it wasn't like I became an adult and didn't have time anymore. It just seemed to me like video games went corporate in 1995. By 1997 things ...

I love the sports reviews too. And I really like Twilighthotel's insight. The first NHL Faceoff was a favorite of mine. It was one of the first games you could create your own player. I always like seeing old sports game reviews bc of all the old publishers.
