Re: Things in Video Games you Hate?

For me, its games like Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, that absolutely REQUIRE you to have a Xbox Live GOLD account (which runs $9.99/mo, $24.95 3/mos, to as high as $99.99 for 2 yrs). Not only do you have to spend good money on the game, but to require online, regardless if you want to play solo...

Re: Best Buy Purchases

Curious at how much those games were (especially Just Cause 3)?

Re: 2016/5/12: Nintendo 3DS: Sega 3D Classics Collection

There was one other mistake I found in your review... You said that Maze Hunter 3D was made in 1997. This is incorrect, it was actually made in 1988 on the actual Maze Hunter 3D review you did.

On your Waialae Country Club review, I did have a moment of pause when I read this, ".. and the color guy is worthless ("Good putting")."

Who is the "color guy"? :o

My kids and I have watched Poltergeist, The Goonies, Back to the Future, and E.T. to name a few. My daughter's favorite now is The Neverending Story

Xbox One Promo $175 from 04/26-05/02/15

Pretty great deal on this trade-up. Alternatively, use that $100 GC for something else in the store! http://www.bestbuy.com/site/xbox-one/xbox-one-consoles/pcmcat303600050004.c?acampID=0&ref=8575135&loc=0&id=pcmcat303600050004 The "fine" print.. --------------------- Trade In a...

Re: 2015/4/24: Jaguar: NBA Jam Tournament Edition

Great review, Dave. I have always enjoyed the NBA Jam series, but have never played the Jaguar version (but then again, have never owned a Jaguar before either!). Not to nitpick, or be the grammar police, but I found towards the end of the review, some omissions of punctuation (commas). Here are som...

General Conversation forum?

Just curious.. why don't we have a "General" conversation forum, that relates to topics outside of videogames? I think it would be fun to discuss other topics with the various members I have grown to know over time on here.

Any thoughts about this? Does this have merit? Dave?

Re: Video game retailers you used to visit and the memories you have of them

I am from Montana originally, and we didn't have any "major" gaming outlets in the small city I was in. Thus, the big retail chain at the time (prior to Walmart) was Gibson's Discount Store. I remember looking at the Intellivision display and seeing Donkey Kong on it, drooling. Yes, those ...
