Mega Man Legacy Collection

This is a collection of the NES Mega Man games (1 through 6). That may not sound like much, but this collection offers plenty of bells and whistles such as a series of NES Remix-style challenges, a museum of various artwork and other Mega Man memorabilia, and even a "database" feature that...

Re: Least Favorite 2D Sonic Games?

Sonic Blast (Game Gear, not to be confused with Sonic 3D Blast) tries to use pseudo-3D graphics, but winds up looking ugly as hell. The gameplay itself is sluggish, and the big sprites make everything seem cramped. But Sonic Jam (Tiger Game.com) is without a doubt the worst Sonic game ever made (2D ...

Games everyone seems to like but you

What are some games that you just can't bring yourself to appreciate the same way the majority of other people who've played it have? One big example for me would be the original Strider. So many people hail this as a platforming masterpiece, but I see it as having janky controls (especially when it...

Re: Will they ever release Snatcher on a modern console?

Considering how low Konami has fallen in the past year with regards to caring about its fans, it sounds unlikely. At least we'll always have emulation.

Where's The Fair Use?

I'm not sure if any of you watch Nostalgia Critic, but he recently posted a video about how flawed YouTube's copyright policies are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVqFAMOtwaI The testimonies from him and a couple other reviewers are pretty shocking and do a good job of bringing this issue to light...

Re: Rogue Legacy

I generally like it, but the fact that the difficulty is less dependent on your skill and more dependent on how much you've upgraded your character bugs me somewhat.

Re: Any good Sega games for PS3 ?

Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection comes highly recommended if you're feeling nostalgic. It covers a ton of genres, and even if not all of the games are masterpieces, there's something for everybody.

No Man's Sky

Is anyone still excited for this game like I am? If you haven't heard of it, it's a first-person planetary exploration game that will supposedly be a major breakthrough for open-world games due to having a galaxy of 18 quintillion procedurally generated planets, all of which have unique flora and fa...

Re: Hard Games to Review

Any game that prioritizes story over gameplay. How do you judge it appropriately if the story is excellent but the gameplay itself is tedious?

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles on Virtual Console in US?

It's not on VC in the US yet, sad to say. There is a version available for the New 3DS (incompatible with the original 3DS), which is currently the easiest way to play it in the US.
