Re: Kids movies that can be enjoyed by adults

I recently watched the Sandlot with my kids and was shocked at the amount of bad language in it. I saw that movie a dozen times as a kid and had no memory of that. Perhaps I saw it on TV?

I've been watching this too, as I sold my NES Classic, but miss it. I thought Nintendo said they were releasing more, right?

Re: New brand of consoles?

As weird as it sounds, I liked it better when there were two major companies--Nintendo and Sega. Re: End of Xbox?

As a retro gamer, I'm so confused by these hardware update consoles. I had my little brother explain it to me and I just couldn't understand why MS and Sony just don't wait until their next real console release to implement these features. My lifestyle was just supremely cheap I guess. Theses days, any fun money has to be a worthwhile investment--...

This is exactly why I love Speedrunning. You can play the same game 100 times and it's always interesting.

Re: Metroid: Samus Returns (3DS)

Yeah, it's a good game, though it doesn't topple Super as the best one. Metroid is all about atmosphere, and SR does a great job of that. Some gripes though: --I wish the melee counter wasn't a thing. The timing is tricky and they make it critical to use. --I could do with the free aiming mechanism ...

Angry video game nerd just did a video on NES wrestling games. It wasn't pretty.

Re: Cuphead (Xbox One)

I wouldn't compare it to mega man. I think it's closer to a shump/bullet hell game. And from that perspective, it's a good one.
