Re: What's your "Favorite" game? Ever.

Single player: really tough. Probably Super Metroid or Ninja Gaiden. Basically a game that you can play over and over again for fun long after you've beat it. Multiplayer: 3 way tie between Goldeneye, Halo 1, and Mario kart. -for MK, I like the first one's battle mode the best. One flat surface and ...

Re: VGC and Social Media

I use FB in sort of an odd way. although I have "friends", I don't see their posts and reserve my news feed for business announcements and things like that. Never cared to venture into Twitter. I'm curious if this stuff will still be around in 5-10 years, and if so, what it will look like.

Though, surprisingly, I found that Mega Man 2 controls very well, despite the on-screen D-pad and buttons. I may check out a final fantasy and...

Re: No Split Screen in Halo 5

As an outsider (never played any of the halos past the first one), the MCC looks like a mess, but sounds like they bit off way more than they could chew to start with. Instead of all those updates after they realized they had major problems, they should have just focused on quality of a few good mod...

Re: Modern Gaming Headaches

MY memories of PC gaming are a nightmare, so as modern day consoles become more like PCs, the harder it is for me engage with them.

Re: Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (3DS)

Just wanted to say that, man, I hate "side quests". Not just in all games, but all games. Just tell me what to do and let me have fun doing it! All that roaming around, wasting time is for the birds....

When did having more than one system become common?

Growing up, me and my friends always just had one system (SNES or Genesis, 64 or PS). And I've always kept that tradition--currently just have a GameCube. I'll admit that part of that is the fun of choosing one or the other. But I read here about people having 2 or even all 3 of the big systems. Whe...
