Re: Worst Nintendo holiday lineup and pricing ever?

Might as well rename the Wii U the "Super Mario Maker System", seeing as that is pretty much it's only selling point. ("Bonus!! Plays a few other games as well!!"). Would actually be less confusing.

I'm with you. Gotta have inverted, going back to Goldeneye on the 64.

Dumb they didn't make it an option. Is there a downloaded patch for this?

OK to purchase a used/refurbished PS3?

Been wanting to play Ico and Shadows of the Colossus since they came out years ago, and considered picking up a cheap PS2 for this purpose, but I saw where they were rereleased for the PS3, which has some other games that I may enjoy (Last of Us, etc). Since I usually like to go the cheaper route, I...

Re: My first impressions of Super Mario Sunshine

I sunk a little more time into it and am having more success with the controls, which translates to me enjoying it more. The stages without the FLUDD are much harder (since you can actually die by falling), but overall, I'm starting to grasp what the game is about more. I'll keep working on it.

Re: Any fans of "Awesome Games Done Quick"?

Sinister's "pasifist" ninja Gaiden run, in which he uses no weapons at all (except for the generic sword on bosses) is amazing....especially through the infamous 6-2 level. He also gets through Punch Out...blindfolded! I really enjoy Funkdoc, duck gist, and the guy that does Yoshi's Island...

Yep, you are correct on both accounts. Which is why I don't mess with craigslist or similar means to sell stuff. I barely stay engaged with Facebook as it is....

Any fans of "Awesome Games Done Quick"?

For those who don't know what this is, it's a semi-annual charity event of speed runners done to raise money to fight cancer. A week long marathon event of the best gamers beating old-school and modern classics as fast as they can. It's a YouTube channel. There's usually good commentary of the trick...
