Re: SNES Classic Announced

I ended up getting my NES Classic for the regular price, though it was bundled with some stuff, from GameStop....but I had to wait about 3-4 months. Supposedly there will be a preorder. If I can purchase it online or without any hassle, I'll get it, but I'm not camping out again. That was a fruitles...

Re: SNES Classic Announced

That pic reminded me of how seldom used our "eject" button was used. Kind of forgot it was there.

Re: SNES Classic Announced

I'm torn. I got a NES Classic, but it was a major hassle, and I'm the end, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Sold it for a nice profit though. I normally wouldn't want to go through that again, but.....Super Metroid and Yoshis Island and DKC. Those are in my top 6 games (Goldeneye, Mar...

Re: How important is Mobile gaming?

I recently got a 2DS and I love it. The big reason is that 90% of the time when I play, it's 15-30 minutes at a time. So portable games fit my lifestyle more these days. I also really not like being tied to a TV. We only have one time in our home, so it's often unavailable, or being used by the whol...

I'm not a fan of wrestling games either but world tour is a GREAT game. Easy to pick up and tons of fun.

Re: Player Unknown: Battlegrounds

It certainly looks more suspenseful than something like Overwatch, because it's much more methodical. You really have to develop a strategy and of course, make adjustments on the fly.

I don't have the means to play it, but I certainly would like to.

Yeah the fact that the affect on the eyes is even questionable makes it too risky for me. I'm enjoying my 2DS, but I'm planning to upgrade to the XL when Samus returns is released.

One note: Man! Portable games have come a loooonnnnggg way since the GBA.

Re: Systems You Have Sold Off

Same here. I've nevered owned more than one system at a time, simply because I needed the cash from the old one to buy the new one. Lol. I wouldn't object to it today, but I'd never own multiple system from the same generation. Shows a lack of commitment. Lol. (My brother has a PS4, Xbox One, and Sw...

Re: Gaming subject matter

There's another issue: trash like the games you mentioned being considered "art". with all the emphasis on hate crimes these days, it wouldn't surprise me if things tighten up.

Re: What do you guys think of the 2DS?

Yeah, I'm surprised at the number of games I want to play, but link between worlds and Samus returns are at the top. Mario Maker and wooly world are next, and then maybe monster hunter (though I've never really got into RPGs...maybe I should try the Mario and Luigi or paper Mario one first??)
