Re: Wizards & Warriors II Iron Sword

This is a game that could have been excellent but is marred by bad design and sloppy programming. It's really short though. It can be beaten in under 15 minutes. The first level is a terrible introduction with the non-stop assault from enemies, your useless sword, and the frustrating platforming. If...

Goldenband - Thanks for the list! I will use this for future reference! Gotta review em all! Cory - The NA means "not applicable" because it's not really the kind of game that you can grade. It like trying to assign a grade to Basic Programming or an incomplete prototype. But you did grad...

Re: The Rules of Galaga

7th rule of Galaga: Former executives for Atari and Coleco should be smacked for not producing a home version of one of the most popular arcade games of that era for the 2600, 5200 and Colecovision. It is amazing that gamers had to wait over 6 years to finally get Galaga ported to a home system. Ju...

Re: Toughest game you've beaten

I beat all 13 stages of Battletoads without warps and cheats for the first time last night. This is on another level of difficulty compared to other hard games I've beaten such as Ninja Gaiden and Batman.

You should review Princess Rescue if you have it or can find it. It's Super Mario Bros. for the Atari 2600.

Re: The VGC's Funniest Reviews

Too bad the Critic hates "Star Control" so much. Me and my friends loved it at the time. I remember it being a lot of fun multiplayer. Maybe it hasn't aged well.

Re: If The N64 Used The CD Format Instead Of Cartridges...

If Nintendo 64 had the CD format, Square would have stayed with Nintendo, there never would have been a FF7 on the Playstation, and there would have been no hardware aspect in which Sony could have remained competitive. Nintendo would have crushed Sony easily. It's just as well it didn't happen beca...
