Re: Question on the Sega Saturn vs the Sega Dreamcast library?

What great JRPGs are on the Dreamcast other than Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2?

Everybody's Golf and Uncharted Lost Legacy (PS4)

I love Hot Shots Golf/Everybody's Golf, and was anxiously awaiting this one while being skeptical about the new open world format and focus on online. My worries were erased pretty quickly. There's still the standard challenges, which is the meat of the game and where you earn new equipment for your...

Re: The Decline of Electric Guitars

Interesting, I didn't realize this was happening at all. I played guitar for 10 years, from about 14 to 24, dropped it after being busy with all hobbies, and just bought a 1991 butterscotch blonde American Telecaster about a month ago. Funny enough, I bought it used from Guitar Center for $800, when...

Re: Gaming subject matter

I share the sentiment that while nothing should be banned outright, if there's a backlash to a distasteful game the creators of that have to be prepared for the consequences.

Re: Skyrim on the Switch

That's a good point. The N64 had poor support but the Gamecube did have pretty good stuff. I think the best third party stuff on the Wii came out late 2007, and especially 2008/2009 after the Wii was established as a sales monster. I feel even the 3DS hasn't had the support that the DS had. Most of ...

Re: Skyrim on the Switch

Yeah, this release is just not exciting. Don't get me wrong, if you've never played it before and this is your way in, that's cool, but it's a six year old game. You know what would've been exciting from Bethesda? If the new Wolfenstein or The Evil Within 2 was coming out this fall for the Switch. I...

Re: E3 Wishlist

Not a huge fan of Battletoads, but everything else I totally agree with. Virtual Console I feel is almost a lock, but I'd bet that the pricing will be similar to before with $4.99 NES/Gameboy/Game Gear games, and everything else approaching $9.99. I'd also love a new Sony handheld. If they completel...

Re: Top 10 Favorite Albums of all time?

Interesting lists. Retro - I love Radiohead as well, and certainly like some more of your bands on your list, but not to the extent that you do. Velco - Other than Radiohead and The Smashing Pumpkins, I don't think we have much in common musically. I should check out My Bloody Valentine though, as t...

Re: Alan Wake Being Removed from Digital Stores

I think a lot of lazy gamers out there are seduced by the convenience of digital media, but when it comes to value for your money you cannot beat physical media. When physical media goes way all new games will be vaporware. So if I'm lazy for preferring digital games, does that make you a hoarder? ...

Re: Reviewing patched games?

Are the point of your reviews to help people decide whether or not they'll like a game or to "punish" developers/publishers? I'd guess the majority of people reading your reviews aren't going to play unpatched versions of the games you're reviewing, thus making your reviews not as useful a...
