Re: Super Mario Run (mobile)

Nintendo is out with their first mobile Mario game, and its getting mixed reviews. First, that Nintendo never mentioned the price during keynote announcement or on downloading the app. Turns out its $10. However, while pricey for that market, there are no more in app purchases. Initial reviews have...

Re: Zelda BoW Cancelled for WiiU

Thread title is a little misleading...I almost spit out my coffee. :) I'd be shocked if it was cancelled for the Wii U. Not only would it be a slap in the face to the most loyal of Nintendo's customers who actually purchased a Wii U to cancel a game that's been advertised and shown off for years now...

Re: Let's Talk About Final Fantasy XV

I bought the game over the weekend for Xbox One for $30. How did you manage that? I feel like a fool for preordering it at $60! :P I'll start playing it today so let's exchange notes! Newegg had a deal for the Xbox version...but I got impatient today and just bought it on PS4. Played about an hour ...

Re: Let's Talk About Final Fantasy XV

I bought the game over the weekend for Xbox One for $30. I would've preferred to play on Playstation since I associate the franchise with it, but I'm not gonna complain getting it half price. Reviews are looking great, with most negative talking points revolving around the half-baked story. I read t...

Re: Let's Talk About Final Fantasy XV

I'm a reformed Final Fantasy fan, loving FF4-9, and being lukewarm on everything since. FF10 was great at the time, but after playing the remastered version and not being able to stomach more than three hours of it I can't say I enjoy it anymore. Both online titles (11 and 14) didn't move the meter ...

Re: Legend of Zelda BOW possibly delayed again?

Would this even be considered a delay technically? I remember them saying it would release in 2017, but not the Switch launch. I read somewhere that a new 3D Mario may be a launch title, and if that ends up being the case, maybe it's best they not blow their load at launch and save some games for la...

Re: Browns vs Tide. Who would win?

49-9 Browns. How many college players make it to the NFL on average each year, even on the best teams? Not too many, and the Browns have 53 players who are good enough to play in the NFL. In the NBA it would maybe be a closer game, since one or two great players can make a huge difference, but gener...

Re: EA's Exclusive deal with the NFL

How is it unlawful? There's no monopoly over making American football games, but EA is the only company that can use the NFL license. And no one is "forced" to buy anything. Is this a consumer problem or an NFL problem?

Re: Nathan Drake and the Bad Review

What evidence is there that any reviewer has ever been paid off? https://youtu.be/PgOnyIt9_ic Remember Driver 3 ? Magazines in the 80's and 90's notoriously gave better reviews in return for advertising revenue and it's unlikely to have improved much. There's one...out of thousands. I think Steve h...

Re: Nathan Drake and the Bad Review

If there's a review problem, it's reviewers getting paid off to write rave reviews - often before a game is even released This isn't the only problem. I think just as big a problem is reviewers (or sites) getting paid off to write poor reviews. Whether it be Uncharted in this case or any number of ...
