Re: Shovel Knight Physical Version Coming to a Store Near You!!!

Awesome! I'll buy a copy or two, depending on what consoles it's on. Hate raining on the parade, but no Vita release? Once again the Vita fails in obvious places where it should thrive. Vita cartridges are far more expensive to manufacture than BD-ROMs. Yacht Club would probably lose a ton of money...

Re: Shovel Knight Physical Version Coming to a Store Near You!!!

This is cool, but I don't understand the timing. It's been released for every platform now, and I'm guessing *most* people that were interested have purchased it. I know there are collectors and such that would buy it again or were holding out for a physical release, but I can't imagine the audience...

Re: Nintendo Wii U games not in production already?

I feel like Nintendo has history of doing stuff like this that predates the eShop. For example, their Fire Emblem games have always been in short supply. I don't think this is a conspiracy at all. The Wii U isn't selling, retailers are giving it very little shelf space, so I'm sure their reasoning i...

Re: Best "next gen" HD era original franchise?

The Last of Us might be my favorite game from the previous generation, and there were some great franchises like Uncharted, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Wii Sports (not my favorite but really impactful), but in terms of pure inventiveness I'd have to go with Portal. Escaping a series of increasingly...

Re: E3 time!

Timed DLC exclusivity doesn't elicit emotions either way for me. If I did care it'd be more directed at retailer exclusive DLC. People shouldn't have to buy games from Gamestop, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart just to have access to to whatever stupid bonuses each one is getting. I don't see how one ...

Re: Game Review Recommendations?

I'd like to see you review Super Mario RPG for the SNES. It has a nice blend of RPG/platforming elements and won't take you much longer than most Mario platformers to finish.

Re: E3 time!

I never complained about it before because I honestly did not even know about it since i've always totally ignored multiplayer in that franchise, had I known in the past I definitely would've made some complaints about it. Really? I didn't own a 360 and am not a regular player of Call of Duty and I...

Re: E3 time!

One thing I forgot to mention that pissed me off about Sony's conference is all their console exclusive DLC BS, it's inherently anti-consumer and benefits no one except Sony. PS4 owners would've been just as happy if that Arkham Knight and Hitman exclusive DLC was available on all platforms(I also ...

Re: TLG, FFVII, and Shenmue 3...all at the same time?

Sony has always benefited from the ability to undercut Microsoft (see E3 2013) because their press conferences always come later--"You heard that Microsoft does that --well WE do this ." I don't buy that. I highly doubt that the people of Sony, who plan weeks in advance for E3, decided to...

Re: E3 time!

One thing that surprised the hell out of me at Sony's conference was the announcement of a Kickstarter for Shenmue III, hard to believe that the long awaited sequel is finally going to happen(there's no way it won't get 2 million on Kickstarter, it's already at around 1.4 million right now). . Yeah...
