Re: Wolfenstein 3D (3DO)

I suppose it isn't really as cut and dry as I made it sound. The console and Mac ports (let's just lump the Mac with the Console ports to avoid writing it repeatedly) were a lot more action centered than the PC original, turning the player into Rambo versus the PC versions fragile spy. In the Consol...

Re: 2015/9/1: Playstation Vita: Persona 4 Golden

I have to admit that I'm intrigued about the reader review score for the game currently being a D+. Is it because it's a enhanced re-release of a game (i.e the original Persona 4); it might be interesting information to know if Ptdebate played the original release or if this his first time? The revi...

Re: Wolfenstein 3D (3DO)

In my opinion, the PC version has more advanced gameplay and all the content. The 3DO version has the highest quality audio. The Jaguar version is the smoothest.

Re: 2015/8/16: Playstation 4: The Golf Club

I'm wondering if the critic should start adding a list of all platforms a game is on, to his reviews, irrespective of whether he has reviewed the games across all platforms?

For instance, to the uninformed, it might seem that The Golf Club and Rory Mcilroy PGA Tour are platform exclusive?

Re: RPG Review Crew?

Rather than an exclusive group, perhaps select reviews from the reader reviews forum when they become available?

Re: Classic vs Modern Gaming: Where's the line?

Separate forums for every console are probably the only thing everyone will agree on, as we all got into/grew up with different generations of console. Personally, I don't think it would matter if a forum for console X get's less posts that a forum for console Y; some consoles are more obscure than ...

Forum wide search option?

As there is no forum specifically for it (or off topic stuff): is there a technical reason why there is no search option for the entire forum, only the ability to search inside each sub forum?

Re: Iron and Blood/Killing Zone (PS1)

Killing Zone and Iron & Blood are arguably considered to be the worst beat em ups on PS1. I recall an old PS1 mag's review index giving them 1% and 8% respectively, but I don't know if those were the scores in the original reviews. That said, I do like the B-movie atmosphere of Killing Zone and ...
