Re: Everything old is new again

The one old form of media I use very often that is out of style are VHS tapes. Frankly, these are way better than dvd's in my opinion. Just pop it in and play. It's kind of like a retro game where you don't have to sit through menus. Funny thing is, when DVD's first came out, they actually had a bi...

Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Wii)

I bought this game a while back, but I haven't even taken it out of the shrink wrap yet. You're kinda making me want to play it now. I actually do like Wii Call of Duty games quite a bit. Both World at War and Black Ops were a lot of fun. I also have the first Modern Warfare game, and while I can't ...

Well, to be fair, you can also choose to get a whole $30 in trade-in credit instead. Sure, you will then have to use that $30 to buy another game that either has a replacement case or an original case that looks like it went through a trash compactor... and yes, a site like estarland.com will give y...

2. Hilter (I mean "Master D") being resurrected in Bionic Commando for the NES. Later, you fire a bazooka through the cockpit of his escape helicopter and...well... Dang, why didn't I think of exploding-head Hitler? And the fact they named him Master D in the U.S. version is pretty hilari...

Re: Physical Release Thread

I posted this in another thread, but I thought I would add it here too... Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 is getting a physical release for PS4 and Xbox One. It will also include arcade versions of Pac-Man, Dig Dug, and Galaga: https://www.amazon.com/Pac-Man-Championship-Arcade-Game-PlayStation/dp/B...

Re: Great Moments in Gaming

A couple that come to mind... The Legend of Zelda: The surprise of finding out that typing in "ZELDA" as your name unlocked an entirely different quest. It was a really clever move by Nintendo since I imagine many kids (such as myself) would do this without knowing about the trick ahead of...

Re: Miniature NES with 30 built-in games

Anybody else disappointed they didn't include a booklet with all the original manuals? Those books were half the fun. Posting them on the internet is a cop-out. Yeah, that's a little disappointing, but this might be the next best thing: https://www.amazon.com/Playing-Power-Nintendo-NES-Classics/dp/...

Re: Call of Duty Infinite Pay to Win?

Pay to win? I like it! It really adds to the realism. In real life those who have the most money wield the most power, and it's true in this game, too!
