MLB 15: The Show (PS4)
Your link is a commercial? Yuck! My peeve with the show is fielding. In Baseball Stars & Power Pros it's fun. You have to react quick & making diving catches is rewarding. The fielding in the show always felt too automatic. Granted I think the last show I played was 2012. Hopeful...

MLB 15: The Show (PS4)

Holy cow! That's about what Harry Caray would say about this game. When I was a kid playing Hardball III (1992) on the PC, I remember imagining what the ultimate baseball game would be like. Of course, at the time, the technology wasn't available. Well, now it is, that technology is the Playstation ...

Capitalism killing games?
I'm no economics expert but I notice this happens in a lot of industries. There will be competition between larger and small companies. So then the larger companies (like EA) buy out all the smaller companies. Then they buy exclusive licensing agreements to f...

Capitalism killing games?

Hey, Capitalism is great. Capitalism is about competition and innovation. That's why I hate this crap with Madden and the exclusive NFL deal. It squashes competition and thus quality.

Funny how we're talking about this, I was playing a demo of MLB 15: The Show at Best Buy this after...

Zelda: Ocarina of Time (3DS)
Nice of you to look out for people but I feel like the statute of limitations has expired in regards to getting mad at people for spoilers to ocarina of tome. Lol
Hey man, you never know. I was planning on getting around to playing Swordquest one of these days. I don't k...

Has anyone heard this guy? His video game music is absolutely fantastic. One guy, no instruments, and the music is almost dead on. They ought to put a few of his songs in Smash Bros.

Remembering the Xbox

The Xbox was actually nice. Sure I could play pretty much every game that I liked on here on other systems, but c'mon. Think back to 2004 and watching actual replays on the halftime show of ESPN NFL 2K5. That daggone hard drive sure was nice. The graphics I guess were slightly better.

No love for the 32/64 bit generation?

I think that the N64/PS1 generation is to 3D graphics what the Atari 2600 was with 2D. This was the dawn of a new age, and they hadn't quite figured out how to make these games in an intuitive, streamlined manner. You play today's games, and they feel like they're much easier to play, and much smoot...
