Re: I wish there were more ____ games

Herschie, out of curiosity, what do you think other developers would do that the two big franchises aren't? I'm not a sports fan, so maybe I'm missing something, but sports games don't really seem like a genre that needs a ton of different franchises.

Do horror games scare you?

I've played Silent Hill 1, Resident Evil 4, Dead Space, and Fatal Frame, and none of those games have ever managed to scare me. More often, I'd end up at a boss fight with no ammo and hardly any health, and get so annoyed that I'd quit the game. The only game that's managed to get me on edge was Fiv...

Re: I wish there were more ____ games

Velcrozombie, yeah! I'm hoping it stays an rpg, though, and they don't remake it it into a Bayonetta-style action game with a Nier paint job.

Loganruckman, have you looked into Yookah Laylie?

I wish there were more ____ games

What type/genre of game do you think the industry could use more of? For me, it's action JRPGs. I love RPGs storylines, especially JRPGs, but so many of them either use turn based combat, or some other tactical fighting style. I don't hate that, per se, but I vastly prefer action RPGs like Kingdom H...

Re: Your favorite Space-themed games (classic and modern)

I'm more into fantasy-themed games, but I did enjoy Mass Effect 1 and 2 (haven't played 3 yet), Destiny (don't hang me!), and I'm still holding out hope for No Man's Sky, even though I'm becoming increasingly convinced that it won't live up to its hype.

Re: No Man's Sky

Hey, for anyone who didn't see it, IGN recently released a video showing 21 straight minutes of No Man's Sky gameplay. I'm still cautiously optimistic about this game. Exploring planet sized planets could be really fun for a while, but look at how many galaxies the map shows are between you and the ...

Sweet! Let me know how you like it! I'm interested to know if it lives up to expectations. Also, I see you've got Dragon's Dogma on your to-review list as well. Can't wait to see what you think of that one!

Re: popup on the "new features" thread

Also, have you run a malware scan on your computer or one for a virus? did your computer report a virus when the page redirected you? Actually it was on my phone. LoganRuckman was on his phone too, so maybe it only effects phone browsers? It wasn't a popup really, it opened up a new window on my ph...

Re: Possible New Features: Comments/Ad-free

Hmm... the short comments might work, but I have a feeling that most people who would comment on your reviews already do so here in the forums. Likewise, I don't think many people would be willing to pay for an ad-free membership when they can just get adblock for free. Just my two cents.
