Re: 2015/11/11: Playstation 4: Bloodborne, Shovel Knight

I said it in your Now Playing thread, and I'll say it again now... Bloodborne deserves a much higher score than that. Not because you're wrong for not liking it, but because you were looking at it the wrong way the entire time. Everything you listed in your review is SUPPOSED to be that way, and th...

Re: No Zelda Wii U in 2015

Nintendo reconfirmed Zelda U for the Wii U in 2016 today and also announced that they're releasing a new remaster next March to help tide us over in the meantime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU4rizKpxfM After it releases, Twilight Princess will have been on the last three generations of Nintend...

Re: No Split Screen in Halo 5

I also find it interesting that at least one person on these forums that had previously stated they won't buy this game due to the lack of split-screen has it in their profile. Perhaps I'm assuming and it could be a rental but either way, I was amused to see it. ;) Yeah I ended up buying it. I had ...

Re: Goldeneye (Nintendo 64)

As much as it pains me I have found that Goldeneye did not age well. I've gone back and played the original Smash and Mario Kart 64 with friends and family and we always have fun, but when we try to play Goldeneye we always end up quitting, disappointed after 15 minutes. The auto aim and controls ma...

Re: Feel Sorry For Sonic (about Sonic Dash 2)

Not many IPs can be that diversified, I'd honestly rather play Colours, Shadow The Hedgehog, and Sonic 2006 back to back, no matter how good or bad they are, than playing all 4 New Super Mario Bros. That would bore me to tears playing the same concept over and over. I feel the opposite. I find the ...

Re: Ratchet & Clank (PS2)

My favorite of the series is the third one, Up Your Arsenal, followed closely by Going Commando. Going Commando changes the formula and controls so the gunplay works better and it is more action oriented, and Up Your Arsenal takes that formula and perfects it. The first one is a solid platformer, bu...

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront Beta

I've played it a pretty good amount. It has two multiplayer levels, each with its own game mode. In one it's pretty much standard firefight as you and your team try to activate pods before the other team. The team which activates more pods wins. You will either be on a team of Rebels or the Empire t...

Re: Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64)

I gave this a good try on Rare Replay. It has aged very poorly, and I can go back and still enjoy the old Banjo Kazooie games. I played a little passed the part where you fight the robotic haystack and realized that I wasn't having any fun at all. I spent the whole time fighting the camera and the p...

Re: 2015/9/9: Playstation 4: Batman: Arkham Knight

I don't mean this as a criticism but lately your reviews have been far out of line from what I think of games. First you panned Majora's Mask, which is one of my favorite Zelda games and a classic in my mind, then this review of Arkham Knight, which I considered easily the best game on Xbox One so f...

Re: Disc scratching consoles

Never heard of the original PS2 scratching discs, but it is notoriously unreliable so it wouldn't surprise me. The Xbox 360 has a hardware issue which will scratch discs horribly sometimes if it is vertical. After it happened to me once I always put my consoles horizontal.
