One of my favorites to look at is the Radio Shack catalog archive which has scans of virtually every single Radio Shack catalog published between 1939 and 2011.

Pretty interesting to look at the ones from the 70's and 80's to see the vintage PC equipment and other electronics.

You should check out the vintage ad browser if you haven't. http://www.vintageadbrowser.com/[/quote]

I definitely will when I get a little free time. Thanks for the link.

I found these in a JC Penny "Wishbook" type of catalog from holiday season 1977 about the RCA Studio II

You may not be able to see, but this is page 4 of a huge catalog, so they were really promoting the Studio II here.

Thanks for posting this. These are kinda fun.

For instance, sticking in 1977, Radio Shack was pushing its home pong for $100
(compare it to the $140 RCA Studio II above. The JC Penney catalog also had Coleco Combat at $70, and Coleco Telstar Ranger for $45, so the Radio Shack game here seems very overpriced - but this catalog could be from months before holiday season)

Its amazing how much of the 1977 Radio Shack catalog are, well, Radios or other forms of audio equipment. About half of the 160 page catalog is audio or CB equipment.

Another interesting page in 1977 are the IC chips
