So now that I have about a dozen or more of these things, I have to ask, what's the best way to store them?
They certainly don't stack, and if I throw them into a drawer it would be hard to sift through them.
Is there some kind of binder or something?

I take it you don't have a carry case for your handhelds then?
That tends to work best. I used to use a fanny pack for my DS and its games (until the fateful day that it would all get lost),now I use the 2DS hard case with alotted space for cards and the system.

I don't think a carrying case would work... VGC is a collector who is probably playing most of these titles on either the Super Game Boy or the Game Boy Player so his method of sorting would have to be similar to other console games. I can't see him putting his dozen or so titles in a carrying case. That just wouldn't make sense. The games are too small to put labels on the end as well... I would just sort them alphabetically and have to guess the titles... I'll try to think of a better solution.

You know these small wooden crates for Champagne and/ regular wine? I salvaged one a few years back, and it works perfect for loose handheld carts, such as the Game Boy. I'm not home right now, but I'll see if I can post a picture of the setup later. As your collection expands, just one crate may not be enough, use that as an excuse to purchase more wine!

I use a shallow shipping container (with the top cut off) to store all my GB games. It's just deep enough so that the GB carts *just* stick over the top.

Do you have those small, hard plastic cases for the cartridges?

You can buy a binder and buy pages with 2.5-inch coin pockets (regular coin pages are about 2 inches and are too small). I've seen these used all over the place at shops.

No, and I usually don't mess with those.

You could use a CD binder, there's plenty of space to stoare cartridges in those things.

Aren't they practical, though? Great protection for your carts!
