My wife and I used to have a puzzle game showdown. We would play the following sequence on the snes:
Tetris/Dr. Mario
Kirby's Avalanche
Tetris Attacks
Sometimes we would work in Yoshi on the nes.
Those puzzle games never got old and they are still a blast to play!
In college, fighting games were all the rage. Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat reigned supreme with my crowd. Although, we did have Galaga and Karate Champ on campus and had some fun with those games as well.
