PSX Road Rash 3/D

Postby matmico399 » January 16th, 2016, 11:42 pm

I picked this game up really cheap on Ebay. I didn't expect much as I hadn't heard much about it. But I always liked Road Rash on the Genesis. Let me tell you this game is fantastic! I have all these new games I have barely started or haven't even started but when I get bored I always stick RR 3/D in as I know I am always in for a fun ride, literally. When I am tired and after several beers I just need to chill. But this game is the 100% adrenaline I need at night.

Great game!

I've never played the PS1 version but it doesn't surprise me that it was good. I have it on 3DO and it kicks ass! I've also never owned the N64 version but from what I've read it was so bad it basically killed the franchise.

The 3DO version is really good, but RR 3/D takes it to another level. The PS1 has an original RR that looks nearly identical to the 3D0. Good stuff. And yeah I just viewed the N64 version on Youtube. I can see why the critic hated it, it looks beyond horrible!

I hated this game. I think I actually smashed my disc of it as a kid out of anger. Its one of those BS ruberband AI racers, which I cant stand. You will be in first place and then out of nowhere you get passed up at the last second and then get taken out by a random object that appears out of nowhere.

Werent there 90 degree turns in that game as well?
