Blinking Light Win - Pin replacement for NES

Postby bluenote » October 25th, 2017, 10:38 am

Several years ago I replaced my faulty pin connector on my NES with an Ebay connector. Now my replacement pin connector is shot. So, I did some research on line and ordered a "Blink Light Win" connector. This connector does not allow you to push down on the cartridge, which is what causes the pins to become defective. It's essentially a pin connector that works the same as an SNES, toploader or Genesis, etc. Cost is about $30 US.

I installed it last night, (very easy to install) and it works great! I tried about 20 NES games and they all worked on the first try. Because you're no longer bending the pins when pushing down on the cartridge, this connector should work for decades.

Anyway, just wanted to share this with others who are tired of constantly try to fix their NES systems. This thing works great!
