Nice article. Weirdly enough, I met Golson's son during a Craigslist transaction about a year ago. I bought some '80s computer stuff and a bunch of factory-sealed Atari games off of him--he was just starting college, so he was selling a few things to earn cash for school.
I didn't know the connection in advance..when I met up with him I asked how he acquired the stuff, and he was telling me that his dad actually got it all in the '80s from his connections with Atari and the computer companies. His dad had then passed it on to him. Seemed really smart and knowledgeable on the old stuff, despite his younger age. Small world though..
