25 is a big anniversary, and 1993 was a fantastic year. Here are some of my favorites from then:

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
Day of the Tentacle
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
Gunstar Heroes
Kirby's Adventure
Myst (I'm not actually the biggest fan, but it's an important game that's conspicuously missing from the OP)
Raiden II
Ranger-X
Star Wars: X-Wing
ToeJam & Earl: Panic on Funkotron

It was an especially good year for the Amiga. I originally decided to list these games separately because the Amiga isn't well-known here, but I ended up having a really strong top ten for the Amiga alone in 1993:

Ambermoon
Cannon Fodder
The Chaos Engine
Disposable Hero
Fantastic Dizzy
Flashback (although the French version was released in 1992)
Lionheart
Traps 'n' Treasures
Uridium 2
Yo! Joe!

Last, but not least - oh, who am I kidding, this is definitely least - the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer.

The Atari Jaguar and Amiga CD32 are also turning 25.

So the 3DO has company.

For some reason, I could have sworn that the Jag was out in late '92. Thanks. (As for the CD32, it's such a sad little footnote to the greatest computer ever made that it didn't even cross my mind to celebrate it.)

The Dreamcast turns 20. The Mega Drive turned 30.

The Pioneer LaserActive turns 25, as does the FM Towns Marty.

And the international version of Pokemon was released 20 years ago, if memory serves.
