Centipede or Millipede?

So which is better, the classic or the sequel. You don’t have to list every console version ever released. But in terms of arcade vs console versions.

Gotta go with Centipede on this one. Specifically the Atari 2600 version. Now don't get me wrong. Millipede is a really fun and addicting game, and I've spent countless hours playing the 2600 and NES versions of this classic. But I choose Centipede because that was the one I played first. And to me, it's just a little bit better game overall. Plus, the 2600 version had a great little comic book that came with it. I read that thing so many times it eventually ell apart. Wish I still had it...

As arcade games go, Centipede is probably one of the top-10 greatest. Precise console, great balance, and terrific sound effects.

Millipede is a lot more chaotic, adding a lot more variables. It's more difficult and requires more luck. I don't think I'll ever be able to master this one.
