Dabney designed the circuit board for Computer Space, using Marine Corps electronics training, according to Polygon. I could imagine Bushnell would be a difficult partner to have.

Wow, sad news. Read a lot about him (including Atari Inc: Business is Fun, great read). Came across in interviews as a really nice guy. And as much as I’ve defended Nolan Bushnell here in the past, it seems that Bushnell really screwed Dabney over by forcing him out of Atari, the company he helped co-found.

Rest In Peace Ted in that great big arcade in the sky where all games are set to free-play.
