What's the best Wireless Gamecube controller?

Postby funky_muzic1 » January 13th, 2009, 3:24 pm

Of course, I'm looking for another wireless Gamecube controller for my Wii.  I have one Wavebird, but unfortunately Nintendo stopped making them and I haven't seen them in stores for a while.  I've seen quite a few different wireless Wii/Gamecube controllers recently, but I wanted to know what people thought was the best one.  Any opinions or suggestions?

Besides the Wavebird? I dunno. That's absolutely a great controller.

Get a wavebird off of ebay - someone gave me a 'blockhead' and the analog stick is really falling apart - it sucks for any game that requires fine tune analog control!

I bought the Shockwave wireless controller from amazon.com. It works fine even if you don't have line of sight witht the Gamecube or Wii. I think it cost around $15 plus shipping. It also has the rumble feature.

I've had absolutely no troubles with it and the batteries last a long time too.

Hey thanks for the insight.  I might look for a Wavebird on EBay (although I'm wary of buying used controllers).  The Shockwave sounds good too.
