It is nice to read the memories and see how the Crash impacted everyone. For most of us it seems to have been mild blip on our gaming lives. That would be great to see Scotland17. My first console was the Odyssey2.

Go Toledo Mudhens! Vernor's is a favorite that I drank before the crash, during the crash and after the crash. Moon Mist is a gamers drink and Grape is best taking a video game break with pizza.

Thanks scotland17!   I've posted here before, though I don't recall needing to make that account back then.  I have an address book I use to keep track of my online accounts and nothing was in it for here, plus I would have created the account using SpiceWare instead of my full name 

Hmm, I see I haven't put up the slideshow from last year.   I just FTP'd it to my site.  Don't have time to update the HTML though, will add a link later - until then: Atari 2600 Homebrew 2012.pdf.

I created the presentation using Keynote on my iPad and iPhone.  Works great, plus you only need to bring your phone + video cable to do the presentation (see attached photos) so there's no need to find a place to safely stash your laptop when you're done giving the presentation.

Sadly, they forgot to put in an option to include "presenter notes" when exporting the slideshow as a PDF.

If I do the presentation again this year, instead of staying at a higher level I'm going to delve into the code needed for a simple game.
