The Video Game Critic

Just a personal recommendation from me: Sengoku 3 for the Neo Geo. Don't know if you much about it, but it's amazing. It absolutely blows the first two completely out of the water, both in terms of graphics and gameplay. It's definitely an old school side-scrolling beat-em-up, but its fighting mechanics are more akin to a fighting game engine with special moves and combos galore.

I am a huge fan of the 2D beat-em-up genre and this is probably one of the better ones I have played. I would love to see a review of it in the future, if you can get your hands on it.
