The Video Game Critic

I believe I'm still bronZfonZ on the Nintendo Network.  Getting the game either tonight or tomorrow, as commitments permit.

so I'm getting this game today... What controller are you guys using? The Wii U Controller Pro? Does it seem to make a difference?

I'm using the gamepad.  I suppose I'll try more options if I have time, but the default option works fine.

I've used (mostly) the gamepad, but I also picked-up a Nyko third-party Pro-contoller knock-off (mini-review forthcoming). Both work fine for me, haven't bothered to try any Wiimote/motion options.

Okay guys, I went to Mario Kart TV today and there was nothing there to watch in my friends folder. Start uploading some highlights (hint: skip the youtube part). I uploaded one tonight. Everything you do in highlights looks cool. Also, you scroll past your recent videos to see other people's highlights in MKTV, for anyone who didn't know how to use it.

I use the Wii U pro controller. It feels really nice. The shoulder buttons are easier to access than those on the gamepad. The Wii U's controllers are known as having a really wide neutral zone, which is undesirable for FPSes but here causes no problems. If anything, it makes the experience better.

Is there any way to use the Pro Controller and get the stats of kart placement onto the main screen like previous Mario Kart titles? I hate that you have to use the gamepad or not have an option to see it.
