Dragon Age: Inquisition

I've been having the same thoughts, BronZfonZ--I think you really hit the nail on the head. Inquisition should appeal to both the hardcore RPG fans with the strategic view and higher difficulty levels while the game's normal mode feels closer to the hack-and-slash camp. I personally just play it on normal because I'm mainly interested in the story and characters rather than an intensely challenging experience, but there's definitely a lot more you can get out of the mechanics if you want to test their limits.

I simply can't stop playing this game. I don't think anything has grabbed hold of me quite like this since Demon's Souls.

Is the combat action real time (press a button to swing your sword), or is it similar to Dragon Age: Origins (press attack and your avatar fights automatically)?

Real time--it's a little like Diablo except more strategic.
