Anyone get this game for the Wii U? It looks pretty good, getting good reviews, but wouldn't mind hearing a review from one of you guys.
Download only (not a fan), but for 15 bucks, it looks like it'll be as close as we get to an F-Zero type game for Wii U.

Well, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one. Been a busy weekend, so not much chance to play it yet, but some initial reactions...
Gameplay is very fast. Feels a bit more like Wipeout than F-Zero, but I don't consider that a bad thing. Graphics look good when the world is tearing past you at 800 miles an hour, but less detailed when you slow down. Seems a bit like a Dreamcast or Gamecube game at times, but high-res...fun, arcadey, perhaps a bit limited in scope. Will post more impressions after further playtime.
