Nintendo has really shown that they arent invincible over the last few years, thats for sure.


Charging $5 to play more that the 1st few levels probably hurt Super Mario Run. Nintendo didn't understand the mobile market when they released the game. They needed to create the illusion that the game was 100% free. Stopping the game after a few levels to demand payment broke the illusion, charging for in-game upgrades or items (usually) does not.

Let's you battle Pokemon over the internet, tho it sounds more like a RTS than a Pokemon RPG. Also sounds like Nintendo may have gotten the monetization scheme figured out. (Scheme is the correct word with these games. :/)
