This is a joke, right?

...Right?

Ugh, when did the real world turn into an Onion article?

Here is the mission: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbwoHzSyjhk

It is real just like the article was talking about!

When gaming becomes more aggravating than enjoyable, the scales tip. I think the publishers have pushed their luck and gamers are starting to be turned off.

I'm sure Switch games have online elements, but they are the exception, not the rule. My Switch is offline and it works fine. My Xbox One is practically useless offline. The PS4 falls somewhere in between.

Honestly, the Switch is probably the worst offender in this regard...many 3rd party ports don't fit on the standard game card, so a download of half the game's content is necessary. Although I can't really say it's Nintendo's fault 100%, they should at least up the storage capacity of the storage medium and make it so that companies don't do this.

Reviews say it is average.

My pal says it is good. Though he loves COD. He is a xbox 1 player.

Actually it got fairly positive reviews from critics, but it was panned/mixed by users on Metacritic.com/Steam/Amazon by comparison! https://www.amazon.com/Call-Duty-WWII-P ... =srch&th=1 and https://www.amazon.com/Call-Duty-WWII-P ... 2Bww2&th=1 and https://www.amazon.com/Call-Duty-WWII-X ... 2Bww2&th=1 and http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstat ... -duty-wwii and http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one ... -duty-wwii and http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/call-of-duty-wwii and http://store.steampowered.com/app/47660 ... I wonder if a move to agile-style development cycles has caused all these day-1 update problems.

Remember the good old days? Back when you bought a game, brought it home, slapped in the cartridge and the blasted thing just worked?
