Xenoblade Chronicles Wii vs 3DS

Postby DaHeckIzDat » December 21st, 2017, 9:05 pm

I have Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii (on my Wii U) but I'm not comfortable with any of the control schemes. The gamepad is cumbersome, the Wii Remote + Nunchuck is clumsy, and the Wii Classic Controller is a piece of garbage. How is the game on 3DS? Does it lose anything in its transition to a portable device?

This game is great, I love it. I personally do not own the 3DS version but I borrowed a copy from a friend. Make sure this one is running on the 3DS XL. It looks like very little is lost in the port outside of some resolution. If you are comfortable with the controller on the 3DS, I would be inclined to roll that way.

This will only play on the *New* 3DS. Keep that in mind. I played it on the Wii and I thought the Classic Controller worked very well. I also have Xenoblade on 3DS and on a technical level, it’s better on the Wii.
