Whenever I get a new first person shooter, one of the thing I like to do is play through the campaign with a friend (coop mode split-screen). I did this with the Halo games, Gears of War, and the first Resistance game.
My friend Steve and I were psyched to play Resistance 2, but couldn't set up a two-player coop game! The only split-screen option was to cooperate in random missions. What's the deal?
Normally I wouldn't be too critical about this, but the first game had it, and I hate when the developers yank out the best parts of the previous game when making a sequel.
