Sonic & the Black Knight just scored a 3.9/10 at IGN.

Yep, sonic has been dead for years.    And now Sega just urinated on his grave again.    Thank the Gods for Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection which shows Sonic the way he should be.   Has all the talent left Sega?    Are they simply unable to make a good Sonic game any more?

Here is some advice to Sega.   Stop adding gimmicks to Sonic games (Guns in Shadow the Hedgehog, Werehog in another, and now sword fighting in this game) instead create a pure Sonic game, and try to get the Sonic gameplay down.    Maybe then, people will at least give it a shot.

Another terrible Sonic topic??

I dont think Sonic has or can go back to his roots to be 'good' again.

For example Mario Galaxy is a totally different  gameplay experience than his 8/16 bit glory days. Doesn't Make Galaxay bad.

So why trap Sonic like that? I mean a game should be judged soley on how well it tries to do what it is trying to do. Maybe this Black Knight is aimed at kids? So you as Sonic fans should reconize that prior to buying it. Again, look at how fast SEGA is pumping out Sonic games - how can you expect a super ambitious title?

It makes no sense to me. Enjoy your old games, but it is counter productive to think SOnic will clear the bar of his 'former, faded, Genesis glory'. Peope are obsessed with how bad they think Sonic is, and I think it is their own fault.

It is like ripping Mario Party 58 for not clearing the Mario 64 bar.

Yes well all the others like Nintendo Power or Famitsu gave it a 6/10. IGN gave Super Mario Galaxy a higher rating than Super Mario 64 when obviously Galaxy can't compete.

SEGA did excellent with this game but why did they keep stupid Blaze the Cat in,kill Blaze and bring back Fang than it'll all be good.
