Daytona USA Possibly Coming To XBLA/PSN

If they do this, then I really hope we might see Daytona USA 2 get a re-release on XBLA/PSN as well, mainly because the sequel never saw a port on a home console.

I would love it if it were actually a straight arcade port. The Saturn versions graphics are bad but the racing feels right, and the Dreamcast version has good graphics but the racing feels off.

I would love it if it was one of the arcade games, hope it isn't just a port of the DC title.

They recently ported the arcade source code to modern hardware and rereleased it as Sega Racing Classic in the arcades.
So I imagine they'd take advantage of that familiarity and work they've already done and port the project to XBLA, if true.

It's true - Daytona USA is coming to PSN on Oct 25th. ...and I'm assuming Oct. 26th on XBLA? The cost will be $9.99 PSN/800 MSP

I'm anticipating this game like you guys. But I bet the reviews on this game will probably be terrible due to the dated graphics (they don't look re-done or anything) and the limited number of tracks.
Online play may be the only thing that saves this re-release
