Online only alert...Battleborn

I know the critic loathes these games. The online only ones.
It has a one player game but it seems to work exclusively in the cloud. It is a third person shooter and has cartoon graphics.
What is the story. I have no idea. It features gearbox great idea of humour. We will all laugh won't we? I have not laughed once.

It is very repetitive. Mostly I have played online doing the same things over and over again. It is so cheap at the moment I bought it for all my friends.. but it is so bad I am not sure they are gonna want it.

Even if you like to play online you deserve to know if the game if the game depends on remote servers.
It amazes me how the publishers and media alike have effectively swept these details under the rug.
