This is an amazing game packing 256 variations! That's crazy. I prefer the "robbers" variations where they "wound" you when they touch you. Having to catch the robbers is fun too. One thing I hate are the invisible variations - they suck big time.

The guys on the label look like Hall and Oates.

Lol!!! I definitely see the Oates, not so much with the Hall.

Dave I am about your age. But sadly I have never played Maze Craze on the 2600 and I grew up with one. My retro store always seems to have this cart but I have always bypassed it. Will purchase on next visit.

I remember when I was a kid driving my friend nuts because I always wanted to play this.

The game is timeless. It's hard to believe the Atari could create random mazes that complex. They should have made a sequel for it at the time. I kind of like the invisible mazes.

I was playing this today. Never expected to have so much fun, but now I remember why I would get so overjoyed when I saw my friend's dad hooking up the Atari 2600.

Another thing great about this game is the maze difficulty. It is so perfect. You can't tell the right path at a glance, but it you stare at it a few second you can figure it out. Of course, with two players you need to be off and running, so you pick a path and hope for the best!
