Absolute Supercars

Postby Maxedout1 » March 7th, 2017, 3:21 pm

Downloaded this game from the PS store. It was ten dollars. Game has good graphics and sound for all the cars. It plays well for about the first ten minutes then it turns from a racing game into a wrestling match. All the pole times are at least 2 or 3 seconds faster than your car can run on the assisted mode so you are usually qualifying really low and having to fight your way through 12 or 16 cars. There are about 4 cars on the first level that do no racing. They are there to stop you in the corners and bang your front quarter panel down the straightaways and almost every race race starts with a traffic jam you cant get through where those certain cars have come to a full stop in the first corner and they are side by side just to slow you down and all of this so that the leader gets a head start. That number increases to about 8 cars out of 16 in the final stages of the game. When your car runs off the road you have to take time to get back up to speed and such, but, the games cars must be using hidden aircraft carriers because they get catapulted right back onto the track and most of the time in front of your car. I beat a lot of the game and unlocked all but 4 cars. This game has an attitude. A poor attitude. It is as if the game dislikes you, a lot! Not a bad for the price and painting your own cars is a lot of fun. I would recommend it for the painting aspect but not for the racing. Games like this should be fun, this one isn't, at least not with a controller, it may play different with a wheel setup.
