Somebody mentioned this recently so I tried out the ROM in my Harmony cart.
Not bad! This retains all the basic elements of the original game.
You have a supply of grenades and can even commandeer tanks.
I think the only thing missing is two-player simultaneous play.

I find it funny that the 2600 version already sounds better than the NES port.

It's a shame how Ikari Warriors on the NES turned out. There are similar games on the system such as Heavy Barrel and Jackal that are far better.
On the other hand, being able to beat NES Ikari Warriors without the continue code is a genuine accomplishment. Getting past the first level is an accomplishment.
