I'm a pretty big fan of snowboarding and this is the real deal. Transworld Snowboarding is like the Tony Hawk of snowboarding games! Beautiful locations and very forgiving gameplay. Makes me sad the winter is almost over.

This does look like a fun game, and one I would enjoy. I love the Tony Hawk games, and this does look similar, just on a snowboard.

I love those early xbox sports game, like Links 2004, NBA Inside Drive, and NFL Fever. This one looks like a buy.

A reader on Twitter reminded me about Shaun Palmer's Snowboarding for the PS2, which I rated highly (B) but had forgotten about.

hmmm. now I'm rethinking things a bit, Maybe I should go with Shaun Palmer. It is made by Activision, just like Tony Hawk 4, which is my all-time favorite game. Of course, both are pretty cheap now.

Looks like I can't go wrong with either. I read Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder has a demo on Tony Hawk 3 for ps2, so I'll have to check it out.

Never heard of this one. But like CharlieR, I was a big fan of the Tony Hawk games. As far a snowboarding games go, I logged tons of hours on SSX Tricky back in the day, but haven't played another one since. It seems like a lot of people still consider SSX the best snowboarding series, even though it's faded away now. I wonder how this game stacks up to SSX.

If you haven't played an SSX game, I'd start there. SSX 3 is probably your best bet. It's generally considered to be where the series peaked. Critic gave it a B+ and it has a 90% aggregate review score on Gamerankings (vs. 68% for Shaun Palmer).
