Can anyone recommend an animated movie with lots of singing? My daughter loves Frozen. I think she partly enjoys it because of all the singing...could be wrong though. She's not quite 2 so maybe she likes the color white. :)

I've tried to get her into the stuff I loved as a kid, The New Scooby Doo Movies and Scooby Doo Season 1 and 2 DVDs so far aren't her cup of cake. I've also got all 6 volumes of the Warner Bros collections on DVD. Those are all amazing. For X-Mas I got Batman Season 1 from the 90s.

I was reading the reviews for Batman. You guys probably know this, but the entire series was shot on black paper. That's why it had such a distinctive look to it even 25 years later. They're supposed to release a Blu-ray of the series this year.

Most of Disney's movies had singing till the late 90's. Some of the earlier ones (Snow White, Pinocchio, Fantasia) might be too scary tho. If you just want singing I might recommend the Fleischer Bros. version of Gulliver's Travels. The copyright expired, so it's free in the U.S. Watch it here: https://archive.org/details/gullivers_travels1939 Not a great movie, but it's ok, and I think one of the songs won an award.

If no one minds me mentioning live action films, there are a lot of good musical movies which might be good for kids. The Sound of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, even Singing in the Rain could be fun. Just preview them yourself first to make sure they're good for your kid.

The Disney cartoon with the best songs is The Jungle Book. Beauty and the Beast is also up there.

I originally said that One Hundred and One Dalmatians has the best songs, but while "Cruella de Vil" and "Dalmatian Plantation" are two of my favorite Disney songs, it turns out that they're the only real songs in the movie! Still, that one is strongly recommended as well.

Holy crap! This is wonderful news. Animaniacs was arguably the Looney Toons of the '90s, even with Tiny Toons Adventures existing, and we really need a classic Looney Toons style show in the modern era.

As for singing movies, I would recommend most of the classic Disney movies, with Beauty & The Beast being my personal favorite. For non Disney, Prince Of Egypt is incredible, although it might be a little dark or graphic for her (it is appropriate for older kids), and some of the more complex themes will probably go over her head.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I really appreciate it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to wear out my Xbox One watching Frozen, so anything else that I can try will be great. It's a terrific movie but after the millionth time anything else sounds wonderful.

That is unbelievable. At 1080p in fullscreen, you can see the pins!

Here are a couple more:

The Trial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaK0huS5src

Night on Bald Mountain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYbjW7XrWDo

I haven't watched these all the way threw, so be wary. Still what I've seen is cool/not inappropriate.

1st season U.S. Pokemon Intro, redone in CGI, with the original for comparison.

Not bad. I think the timing in the original may be better, but that could be nostalgia. The person who made the CG version should've added glint to Ash's Pokeball, and glare from the sun.
