There's definitely some overlap in our tastes, and I lot of stuff in your list (REM, Depeche Mode, Deftones, Garbage, Tool, RATM, Faith No More) almost made my list as well. I just noticed the Pallbearer album - haven't heard that one yet but I loved "Sorrow and Extinction". I don't know what to think of the Death Grips - I think Exmilitary is the best thing they've put out and everything else has sounded like diminishing returns to me.
Top 25 for me as well - too much music to cover in a Top 10. Trying to keep this up to my more current tastes - I'm I haven't listened to an album in a long time I dropped it unless it has a very special place in my musical memory.
I'll end up looking at what I wrote an hour later, getting mad that I forgot something and wanting to edit this list, but I'm going to try and get it right the first time and not meddle too much.
In no particular order:

1. My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
2. Metallica - ...and Justice for All
3. Pig Destroyer - Prowler in the Yard
4. Radiohead - Kid A
5. Cryptopsy - None So Vile
6. Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album
7. Beck - Mellow Gold
8. Captain Beefheart - Safe as Milk
9. Slayer - Reign in Blood
10. Nothing - Guilty of Everything (if you like shoegaze, give these guys - this album especially - a listen)
11. Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
12. Godflesh - A World Lit Only by Fire (if you like industrial music, give this album - along with "Streetcleaner" - a listen)
13. Brian Eno - Here Come the Warm Jets
14. Massive Attack - Mezzanine
15. Megadeth - Rust in Piece
16. Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
17. Dr. Octagon - Octagonecologyst
18. Aesop Rock - Skelethon
19. Queens of the Stone Age - ...Like Clockwork
20. Tom Waits - Bone Machine
21. Mr. Bungle - California
22. Death Grips - Exmilitary
23. Gang of Four - Entertainment!
24. Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
25. The Locust - Plague Soundscapes

Interesting lists. Retro - I love Radiohead as well, and certainly like some more of your bands on your list, but not to the extent that you do. Velco - Other than Radiohead and The Smashing Pumpkins, I don't think we have much in common musically. I should check out My Bloody Valentine though, as they were an inspiration for Billy Corgan if I remember correctly.

1. Radiohead - OK Computer
2. The Smiths - Louder Than Bombs
3. Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
4. Joni Mitchell - Blue
5. The Beatles - The White Album
6. Suede - Dog Man Star
7. Paul Simon - Graceland
8. U2 - Achtung Baby
9. Oasis - What's the Story Morning Glory?
10 a. Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
10 b. Jeff Buckley - Grace
10 c. Neil Young - Rust Never Sleeps
10 d. Weezer - Pinkerton

Awesome. I've never seen another person list HotH as their favorite Zep album. Mine too. Rust never sleeps is great, but Harvest is still my favorite Young album.

My picks change all the time, but here goes:

1) Blood on the Tracks/Desire/Street Legal/Time Out of Mind-Bob Dylan (a four way tie is a cheat, but I can never pick one over the other three)
2). Yield-Pearl Jam (such a great album for a summer drive in the country!)
3). Cat Stevens-Mona Bone Jakon
4). Beck-Sea Change
5). Zwan-Mary, Star of the Sea
6). Beach Boys-Sunflower/Wild Honey (once again, choosing is impossible!)
7). Screaming Trees-Dust (how this band never took off is beyond me!)
8). Love-Forever Changes (this album took me through a painful divorce)
9). Belle and Sebastian-If You're Feeling Sinister/Tigermilk/Write About Love
10). Duck Tales-The Flower Lane

I like everyone on your list - U2 was my favorite band for a while (although I haven't listened to anything they put out after "Pop") and I especially like Dylan, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Neil Young. My Bloody Valentine is an acquired taste for some people - I've heard some of the guitar sounds on "Loveless" described as "Whales having sex on drugs" - but I find it to be blissful, gorgeous music. If you have some experience with Sonic Youth you'll probably be fine. You might like the band Nothing as well - they're probably closer in style to the Pumpkins than My Bloody Valentine is (even though they come from a punk background).

Just listened to Grace in its entirety. Two things: 1) The mixing and mastering are crystal clear. Every instrument and vocal take sounds so three dimensional on good headphones. 2) Dream Brother is one of the best album closers ever. Love how haunting it is.

I love this album. Would probably move it up in my top 20 somewhere.

1. A Love Supreme (John Coltrane, 1965)
Perfect.

Image
2. Sonic Seasonings (Wendy Carlos, 1972)
This is barely music, but it's the most gorgeous thing I've ever heard.

Image
3. Bitches Brew (Miles Davis, 1970)
An ocean of lava.

Image
4. Ommadawn (Mike Oldfield, 1975)
George Harrison's guitar gently weeps. Mike Oldfield's sobs in ecstasy.

Image
5. Whatever You Love, You Are (Dirty Three, 2000)
More ecstatic sobbing, here from a violin.

Image
6. Exile on Main St. (The Rolling Stones, 1972)
A big, fat, sloppy, perfect rock album.

Image
7. The Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd, 1973)
The opposite of Exile on Main St. and very nearly its equal.

Image
8. Kaddish (Towering Inferno, 1993)
An avant-garde concept album about the Holocaust, alternately tender and grotesque.

Image
9. Oxygène (Jean-Michel Jarre, 1976)
French guy makes the perfect synthesizer album in his kitchen, becomes zillionaire.

Image
10. Шабаш (Алиса, 1991)
As awesome as it is Russian.

Have you heard Mark Lanegan's solo album Whiskey for the Holy Ghost? It's probably my favorite album of 1994.
