Out of curiosity, would this rig be able to play the first Witcher game? I've been wanting to give that entire trilogy a chance. I'll play the first game on PC, the second on 360, then the third on PS4.

Yes, you should have no problem running the first Witcher.

I strongly encourage you to return it if you can. That brand has given people nothing but problems. We tried to warn you before but alas...
You’ll have much better results with something like a Dell or an ASUS.

I hope they'll still let me. It's been almost four months.

With that one you may need to go through the manufacturer’s warranty, which can be unpleasant but you might just have to do it...

Barring that, maybe the problem is fixable. You could try consulting your PC-knowledgeable friend or a local repair shop.

A brand new PC BSOD-ing like that shouldn’t happen though...it could be either a really cheap and easy fix (like reseating or replacing the RAM) or something really major (like a bad mobo).

I looked up the code it was giving me, "Bad Pool Header", and it said that it usually means I have multiple antivirus programs interfering with each other, and advised that I install all but one of them. It just so happens that all my antivirus free trials ran out just a couple days ago, so maybe that was it. I uninstalled them all and then downloaded Avast. Let's see if that fixes anything.

Now it isn't even letting me log on. It starts up, tells me "Preparing Automatic Repair", then reboots itself before going anywhere. This is a neverending loop and I have no idea what to do. I'll probably need to get it refunded, if they'll still take it back, but that doesn't help me get all the important files i need off of it.
