Atari Corp was fairly successful after the crash, till the computer market turned to PC clones in the early 90's.

And I do believe Atari Games inc was fairly successful in the arcade scene, till that market changed.

I'm trying to sort out all the problems which caused the original Atari inc's collapse.

Pacman was a big source of trouble for the 2600. ;)

Yeah, I didn't bother to address those divisions because anyone making arcade machines or their own design of computers (except Apple) was going up against the wall anyway. The only division that even had a chance in the long run was the consoles.
